Story time :)

Sister Hopkin is great! She cracks me up all the time with the funny things she says. We have a couple in the ward who are pure blood glaswigen (they are from glasgow). They are well known for having difficult accents to understand! Fortunately for Sister Hopkin they were the first people she every met in East Kilbride! haha

Anyway, We had a dinner appointment with them on wednesday. Sister Hopkin was incharge of the phone on tuesday and part of the phone responsibilties is to confirm appointments for the following day.

 

We were waiting for a bus when I said "We should probably make sure it's still ok if we see the Rodgers for dinner tomorrow" She looks at me with innocent eyes and says. "Will you call them?" I lovely say...."No"  and then "If you have trouble you can hand the phone over to me, but you need the experience."  Sister Hopkin puts on her brave face and voice and phones to confirm. When she hangs up I ask  "How did it go? Is it alright if we still come over?" Sister Hopkin gives a priceless reply "She said something and I don't know what she said, but I said yes!"

 

 I couldn't help but roar with laughter!!!!!  That's my Sister! Oh it was a great moment!
