NINE MONTHS

Well I made it! Sister Oswald and I celebrated my hump day/ half way mark on my mission. I can't believe it's already here. As the saying goes "It's all down hill from here."

This is Sister Oswald expressed "Not too bad for 9 months"

Went to Muffin Break, I'm a regular customer, and had two of the most delicious muffins EVER!

Earlier in the week we went to the Rodgers house for a Scottish Fry Up!!! Alright, none of you will know what a Scottish Fry Up contains so i will tell you what we consumed saturday evening. A traditional Scottish Fry Up usually has hash browns, squaresausages, sunny side up eggs, potato scones, beans, black pudding (blood from lamb mixed with oatmeal) or fruit pudding, slices of tomatoes, fried bread and haggis. However, we had everything except for Fried Haggis, Bread and fruit pudding.

Brother Rodgers had mercy on us and gave us a wee scottish fry up.

He knew we wouldn't be able to handle a REAL Scottish Fry Up. We are so loved! :)

They only gave us two of each, but it was ENOUGH! We waddled out of the house we were so full. It was delicious!

Here is the chief with the final product, Brother Alec Rodgers. .

Hope everyone is enjoying their warm summer holiday!

What a week

Holy Cow, moves week is crazy and exhausting. However, I think i'm finally getting use to moves week because I wasn't as tired or worn out, maybe it's because I was in Glasgow ALL day wednesday (which would have been our p-day). Yes, The zone leaders phoned and asked if we could be in glasgow from 8am-7pm to be with another sister! Sister Oswald and I were delighted to be in a trio for an entire day.

We met Sister Patterson at the bus station with the other missionaries and walked all over Glasgow. Here is our success.

Sister Patterson was SUCH a delight! haha   A very LONG day, but a worth while time sight seeing in Glasgow!

The next day Sister Oswald and I were oot and aboot(out and about) when all of a sudden the rain came down and the puddles built up. I turned to Sister Oswald and said "I never thought I would say this, but I REALLY missed the rain." Last week it was hot, I got a tan line, felt like home etc... However, it wasn't Scotland. The rain was warm and the drops were huge. We were soaked in a matter of minutes. It was a good thing we were on our way home!

Yesterday we went over to Seda's to teach her and to our surprise she cooked us dinner and showed us how to make kettle corn!!!!!!!! answer to prayer :) She used non-grease paper and made popcorn bags which looked like the olympic torch. We are all winners!

It was indeed a blessed week. Heavenly Father answers prayers and knows what we need when we need it! I experiences a lot of tender mercies from heavenly father and each time I recognized them I looked
toward heaven and said "Thank you." I hope you all know that Heavenly Father sends tender mercies to you everyday.

Have a great day

Moves Call

All day Sister Oswald and I were waiting for the phone call from the mission office. We were convinced one of us was leaving. It was a shock when the Zone leaders phoned us and told us we were staying together in East Kilbride!!!

At the end of this moves Sister Oswald and I will have served 150 days together. 5 1/2 months total! There must be something good we are doing. people tell us we make a good companionship and we joked around saying that there is something that the Lord likes about us serving together. We are going to continue to make a difference in East Kilbride!

Have a great week
